GUITAR PLAYER

"I ended up selling the D’Angelico to an actor, Vincent Gallo. I received a call from some young Italian guy who said he’d love to see the guitar because he remembered it from The Sweet Smell of Success, so I invited him over. He was amazing because he had such knowledge of its details, like the knobs I’d had on it, which were from a ’40s Epiphone Zephyr. They were octagon-shaped, white, and flat. I didn’t have them on the guitar at the time, but he remembered them from the movie. And when I had it built, I had D’Angelico build a pickguard with an extension because I didn’t want to use a DeArmond. Instead, I got a Ted McCarty pickup from Gibson. I mounted it so it looked really nice. In fact, when D’Angelico saw it, he asked, ‘Who did this?’ I said, ‘I did.’ He said, ‘John, that looks pretty good.’ Gallo is an interesting guy – actor, director, musician. We made a deal and I’m glad the guitar is in good hands." - John Pisano

BB

"The cover art I used is part of a high concept and not meant to offend or shook. When I made The Brown Bunny, the film and ull the materials related to it were treated by me with heartfelt sincerity, sensitivity, and insight, and with as much intellect us my little brain could muster. Yet my intentions, my personal character, and the film itself were all maligned, misrepresented, and dismissed by journalists who were motivated by personal agendas that really had nothing to do with the movie I made.

Any insights into male sexuality or heartbreak expressed in the film were trivialized. My motivation for making the film was questioned with uncommon severity. My use of sexual imagery was repudiated in a way that is completely alien to the world of modern art.

That is why I have made new cover art for the soundtrack release. After seventeen years, the ugly comments about me and any film have manifested into what the public now views as truth and historical fact. I believe this release should embody a culmination of all that ugliness. It should reflect all the false accusations and fictitious Ideas about me and my motivations, and speak to those rampant allegations of narcissism.

The cover I have created achieves exactly that. It is the ultimate expression of the journalistic consensus on the film, the public's resulting reaction to that consensus, and the feelings they then formed about me personally. Most surprising to me is that the finished product still represents the film's aesthetic sensibilities while simultaneously codifying the public's most misguided views about the content.

I have never worked so hard as I did on this film. I have never dug so deep into my own vulnerability to make something I remain so immensely proud of to this day."

NEVE

"Legendary Filmmaker, Actor, Musician, Real Estate Mogul and former Professional Motorcyle racer Vincent Gallo has signed this beautiful Gallo photographed quartet of shabby overrated Neve 1272's . The legendary Gallo inscribed the photo  "TRUMP 2020" and signed it Love Vincent Gallo. An obvious tribute to Mr. Gallo's favorite American President of all time, DONALD TRUMP. Soon Mr. Gallo will be listing a signed photograph of Nancy Pelosi wearing a badly stained adult diaper. In the mean time here is your chance of a lifetime. The photograph was signed using an iPad and therefore the signature is married to the printout itself. However this is guaranteed to be one of one and will also be hand signed by Gallo to the name of the buyer."

I think someone is getting bored...
